Wins Silver at U.S. Junior Nationals

Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Franchesca Chiera of the Florida Panthers Figure Skating Club skating out of incredible ICE in Coral Springs, recently placed second among 42 skaters at the U.S. Figure Skating Junior Nationals in Strongsville, Ohio. Chiera’s second-place finish makes her one of the highest placing South Florida figure skaters in U.S. Junior Nationals history.

Our Town News on December 30th - Franchesca Chiera, a Coral Springs figure skater, has won second place at the U.S. Junior Championships finals held in Strongsville, Ohio. This makes Chiera the 2010 Juvenile Silver Medalist and the South Atlantic Regional Juvenile Champion. - full article
