Hello everyone,

Thanks for visiting my website. 2011 was another amazing year on the ice. Skating at the Novice level for the first time, I was able to capture 3 Gold medals, 6 Silver, and 2 Bronze at 5 different competitions!

In August, I was invited by U.S. Figure Skating to compete in a developmental team event in San Francisco and landed my first clean triple lutz. The U.S. Developmental Team is made up of the top 5 skaters in the United States from each skating level. I once again finished first in my qualifying group at Regionals but fell short by 2.11 points qualifying for Sectionals

A special shout out and thanks to my coaches Ilona and Artem for helping me earn an invitation to join the U.S. Figure Skating developmental team. .Competing with other skaters from around the country was an amazing experience. We felt like we were part of the U.S. Team and were walked to the competition by a U.S. Team Leader. I was paired up and roomed with another top skater from the United States.

I’m really excited about getting ready for this year’s competition. Being home schooled is allowing me more time on the ice. I am skating more and also spending a lot more time on my laptop and iPad with school work. I feel great and I am landing all of my triple jumps with much more consistency. (Check out a couple of my jumps in the video on the lower right, or just click here) This year we are headed to competitions in Los Angeles, California, New Jersey, Orlando, Florida and finally North Carolina for Regionals.
